Described as, “Glee Meets Stomp”, Vocal Trash asks you to recycle your imagination as their urban themed family production energizes audiences with a thrilling and heartwarming experience. The show - world class singing, industrial style drumming, light hearted comedy and award winning break-dancing. Led by creator/producer, Steve Linder and child star, Kelsey Rae (Broadway's Annie), this green-minded ensemble tours globally on a relentless pursuit to bring people together utilizing the universal language of song and dance. "Exhilarating" ... "Inspiring"... this is Vocal Trash.
Recycle Your Imagination
This Texas based group has been engaging audiences with their unique and exciting brand of entertainment for over a decade from New York to Seattle, Las Vegas to Puerto Rico. Whether it be Madison Square Garden or The Venetian Hotel and Casino, Vocal Trash continues to energize all ages with their first class singing, industrial style drumming, comedy antics and award winning break-dancing. This is Glee... with a kick.
“It’s an energy thing” says creator Steve Linder. This may just well be an understatement. Their performance is an astounding display of athleticism, synchronization, precision and, most of all, musicianship - performed by a superbly conditioned and highly skilled cast. Unlike many shows, it is the entire troupe that makes this seamless ensemble performance such a thrilling and uniquely complete experience. When it comes to diversity, Vocal Trash is, hands down, the ultimate variety show woven with Broadway urban tapestry.
See why audiences world wide are recycling their imagination as Vocal Trash redefines the meaning of high octane entertainment.
THE BOOK- THINK... Before You Throw It Away
Clair is a 10 year old girl who finds adventure in the most unlikely place... a city landfill. With the help from her new and unusual friends, she soon discovers the importance of saving our planet by making better choices.
Eventually, Clair is able to convince her parents that trash not only has a voice, but should have a choice to its final destination. Her plan? To reach out to others by making music in harmony with the environment.
Thanks to Clair’s new musical group, Vocal Trash, we all learn to re-use, recycle and ultimately, "THINK... before you throw it away".
