WELCOME TO THE OMAK PERFORMING ARTS CENTER!
Since opening its doors, the PAC has been the cornerstone of performing arts in the Okanogan Valley. This beautiful venue is a base for Student Arts, Community Organizations and touring professionals.
Completed in 1989, the PAC was built by the Omak School District as part of an ambitious district-wide construction project, approved by voters. The private, non-profit Omak PAC Foundation was organized at the same time. Gifts to the Foundation from local citizens and organizations provided the extra funding that turned a basic school auditorium into a state-of-the-art performance environment.
Foundation organizers recognized that a theater of this quality would strain the school district's budget without on-going private support for maintenance and promotion. The PAC serves the greater Okanogan community beyond the boundaries of the school district. Through the Foundation, that greater community has a way to support this exceptional regional asset. Over the years gifts have ranged from a few dollars to many thousands. No matter the amount, each has been essential to the maintenance and development of this vital community center.
For over 25 years your Performing Arts Center has been the Okanogan Valley's premier location for presentation of artistic talents as well as an ideal setting for seminars and ceremonies.
With auditorium seating for 562 people, a spacious stage, orchestra pit, full fly loft and sophisticated lighting and sound systems, the PAC will make any presentation a production to remember!
